Contrary
to reports that sales of Samsung Galaxy S4 is struggling, Samsung
Mobile chief JK Shin has moved to oppose the reports with a massive
sales figure of the high end smartphone that took the smartphone market
by storm in 2013.
He
revealed to Korean media that the South Korean electronics company has
sold more than 40 million units of the smartphone. Samsung sold 10
million units of the smartphone after a single month on the market.
It
doubled the value to 20 million in two months and 30 million in 4
months. The Samsung galaxy S4 has performed better in the market that
galaxy S3 which sold 40 million units in 7 months. The galaxy S4 has
been on the market for less than 6 months.
Previous
reports of low sales figures of galaxy S4 has sparked rumours that
Samsung will release the Samsung galaxy S5 early in 2014 to cover for
the former situation. There have been reports that Samsung galaxy will
come in a metal case and other reports that indicated otherwise.
